MALAYSIA CONDEMNS TERROR ATTACK IN MOSCOW

Malaysia joins the international community in condemning the horrific terror attack in Moscow on Friday and reiterates its rejection of all forms of violence that destabilise the peace and security of any nation.

The Foreign Ministry in a statement on Sunday also said Malaysia reemphasises its firm stance against terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and manifestations and calls for the perpetrators of this attack to be swiftly brought to justice.

“The appalling terror attack in Moscow on Friday is deplorable. As stated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the rampage has no place in this civilised world,” the statement read.

It added that the ministry, through its embassies and offices worldwide, remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of Malaysians abroad, as well as to advocating for dialogue and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow on late Friday resulted in the death of 133 people and injuring over 140 others.
